2024 Property Taxes are now Available Online
2024 property accounts with Alvarado ISD have been updated with the tax rate approved in the November 5th election and are available online to view or pay with statements to follow. If an account was paid prior to the 2024 tax rate update, a refund will be processed and sent for the difference.

Tax Assessor-CollectorScott is a native and lifelong resident of Johnson County. He was sworn in as Johnson County Tax Assessor–Collector on October 1, 2002. Prior to being sworn into office, he was the Chief Deputy at the Johnson County Tax Office.
Scott attended Texas Christian University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He has also attained the professional certification designation of PCC and CTOP.
Since taking office, Scott has brought many new ideas and services to the tax office with a focus on customer service and convenience as well as the use of technology to provide a tax office that is efficient and user friendly. He is also committed to providing a tax office that is responsive and cost effective for the residents of Johnson County.
